The lightning flashes across the sky
Thunder roars as the flash goes by
A sprinkle lands softly here
A mist so fine with no shelter near
Upon the ground spread in green
Hidden far and seldom seen
A bed of grass soft and moist
Mother Nature’s bed of choice
Upon this earth a moan in the night
A muffled sigh it’s just right
Two are one and one is all
Lay with me before you fall
Storms may come and storms may go
But here and now I want you so
The thunder pounding within my chest
Awaiting you to touch my breast
