I crawled out the blinding sandstorm
Searching, looking
For something to recognize
A northern wind to sweep away the dust and smoke
To reveal the mess left behind
Nothing left familiar
Step after step
Past shattered lives
Wasted beliefs and hopes
Stopping for nothing
Past the bleached bones
Of many a dream
Without pity or anger
Ahead to the other end of the world
To see the same all over
I walk in circles around the globe
I don’t walk alone
We walk together, growing like a cloud
We walk into the horizon until it rains
Until it rains all over the world
And the earth blossoms once more
