Far I have come
Long I have traveled
Much I have seen along the way
Down this dark lonely road

Images fill my mine
Feelings sear my heart
Sorrow buries my soul
While joy lights up what’s left inside

I wander across this lost world
Walking to a tune long gone
Just the memories remain
Fading shadows lost to time

Desires buried deep inside
Thoughts forever tormenting my soul
Dreams burning away
What I want and never will

Only when I’m gone
Will I have what I want
Only when there is nothing left
Will everything be mine

When will I wake up?
From this deep dark dream
This living nightmare
This lonely existence

Have I come to far?
Or not far enough
Must I keep going?
Or should I stop here

Far I have come
Far I still have yet to travel
While the world stands still
