I’ve been walking down these streets
From the time I could crawl to the door

The road beckoned me to places unknown
Down the road has the mystery
Of what’s not the same
Was I running away because I was afraid
Of what I might find if I stay

I met the Devil and we danced the night away
I met God and he said “bitch”you’re to soon

There is no escape from destiny
Because we are stuck in the cracks of our minds
Trapped between what’s right and what we want
Choices are never wrong just good or bad
This road snakes into tomorrow
Leaving shadows where once was hope
