The sky is lit, by a single star
Way up there, looking far
I know I see, what others do
But inside I know, it’s meant for you

The sky above, is as you see
I glimpse the future, of just what might be
Way way up, for all to know
The sky seems dark, but won’t let me go

Time goes by and seasons change
Winter comes and turns a page
Life goes on, around me here
But time stops still, when you are near

The sky is lit by, a single star
But when you reach, it’s not so far
