She asked, “What’s your name”?
I said, “It doesn’t matter”.
“Why” she begged
“Because there is no tomorrow for you and I; just today”.
Today and everyday
Is just another day
Another nightmare to live
Another day to endure in the shadows of this world
“It doesn’t have to be that way”, she cried
“It always does, in this cold whore of a world”.
“We can turn and run away”, she reached.
“There’s no where else to run too, only this space in this time”
Time is the enemy
What ever happened I don’t know?
Where did time stand still?
When did it all begin and where will it all end, will it?
“What of me, do you want to know my name”, she pleaded?
“Do you know it”?
“Tell me please”.
“Tell me so I can know who I am”.
I am, who I am
I have no name
Just who I feel
Who I am
“Tell me now”
“Tell me who I am”
“Tell me, tell me twice”
“Tell me my name,” she screamed as she fled.
Where are we going?
What are we running too?
Who am I?
Whatever happened to my name?
