Down this long road I travel
Searching for a place to call all mine
A place far from here, un-trampled by time
Void of any footprints
Through meadows of despair
Valleys of hope
Over mountains that gently kiss the sky
Across oceans of thought
Following a road written in destiny
Written into time with the seconds that tick by
The minutes spell the words
Filling the hours paragraph by paragraph
What adventure will fill the chapters
Day after day
While the years fill the pages until the end
An end that never comes
A new beginning down another long road
To yet another destiny written in time
Written with words
Words that are swallowed up in time
