Somewhere
Somewhere far
Somewhere close
Somewhere beating in my chest
On crowded streets
Down empty roads
In lush meadows
On a beach or swimming in an ocean
Out of this cage
Into the jungle
Past the concrete mountains
And running across asphalt fields
Looking to be free
Searching to find me for you
Lusting for tomorrow
Hunting for love in the shadows of my heart
Escaping the land of make believe
To the Garden of Eden
From the man made bean stocks that reach the sky
To what always was and is dieing away
To find what needs saving
To find what is missing in this cardboard world
To be free, free to reach out
To smell and taste the fruits of our existence
Only when you’re gone
Do I feel this way
Only when I am alone
Does the door close on this prison beating in my chest
Where’s the key to the lock
That sets me free from the darkness
From the cold recesses on my mind
To be free to sail away to the four corners of my heart

nice work buddy.. :-)
i hope you find that key. to sail away and be free.
She can do all these... and wreck me.
I like that it is a journey to everywhere to seek, near and far, in and out, everywhere. And yet, when the prison is that big, where in the hell does one go to be safe? Find it. I hope you find it, that which will save you, make you whole, free you.
She must be something.
The key lies within YOU my dear ... look close, it's there.
Great job here!!! You are on a roll mate!!!
