Secluded ©©

Secluded and all alone
Immersed in my deepest of thoughts
To bring all of me together
Bringing my thoughts alive, to feel each one all at once

From beneath my skin
Up from the depths of my heart and soul
To engulf my every fiber
Until I could feel myself soaring from within

The world around looks to fake
To fake be real
To simple from what I know
So simple to finally understand

Bright and rich, effervescent
Shedding light on questions left to haunt this mind
Questions abandoned
Or was it the answers?

Left alone to my thoughts
Out of sight of those around me
I feel real love
Real angst and pain

Away from the mirage of life
Far from the make believe
Where we pretend to be what we’re not
Where we are what we have to be

Left here alone to be me
A specter deep in the shadows
Swimming in a sea of realization
Feeling what only I can feel

Soaring with my thoughts
Living life
Here, secluded and alone
But not

Searching for answers
Or questions
Secluded and free
Just me

I can relate to these lines very closely. Overall, a neat piece.

Your writing haunts me just the same. I dont know why...!
Into this world of artificiality I lose myself, while this solitude calls out for the real self, The self that was me...

Is the end result good? In a way. It's you. Realized. But I'm not so good at lonely.
