Do the answers come from a book

Is it right to do what you’re told
Is it wrong not too
Will we be punished if we do
Or will we get our just rewards

Is what we feel our true self
Is it whom we are
Who we were before time
Or is it what we’ve become

The fires burn inside
Filled with emotions
Bursting with desires of souls bound for to long
Or is it the inferno that will burn us to ashes

Is it right to be wrong
Wrong not to be right
Do the answers matter
Or is it all about the questions

What is freedom
Is it a choice
One that we make
Or is it make believe
