Dream Weaver ©©

Deep in the recesses of my mind
I find solace in the arms of my desires
Peace with who I am and want to be
In love with what could be
Afraid of what might come to pass

When I wake up in the morning
I look for what I can find of my dreams
Of my desires

In the darkness I have no face
No place that is mine
No place that isn’t
Home is what I make it
Where I lay down

When I wake up in the morning
I look for what I can find of my dreams
Of my desires

In my dreams there are tears of joy
Tears of sorrow
Laughing faces in all the places
There are somber faces
With love in every eye

When I wake up in the morning
I look for what I can find of my dreams
Of my desires

On my blank canvas
I paint a picture
A picture of what I want to see
Rich in color
Full of life

When I wake up in the morning
I look for what I can find of my dreams
Of my desires

In the evening I look up at the sky
I see the stars you see
Do you dream the dreams I dream
Do you feel what I feel
Live like I live

When I wake up in the morning
Will I live the dream
Or is it only when darkness to come again
