Yesterday melts into tomorrow
Forgetting about today
When did I do what I wanted to do
That it’s become part of yesterday
How can I grab tomorrow
If there is no today
What happens to all the dreams
If today is gone
How can you believe in tomorrow
When today becomes part of yesterday
And yesterday
Slowly fades away
It used to be life was slow
We walked together
We lived today and into tomorrow
Instead of running to catch to another day
Did tomorrow become faster
Or was today slower than before
Did yesterday catch today as it fell away
Or did it swallow it up to crap away into the past
Tomorrows are our dreams
Todays explore what could be
As yesterdays fade away
While the miles roll by into eternity
